09:50:43 Are you feeling like you're in a season of spiritual warfare?
09:50:46 Does it seem like no matter what you do.
09:50:49 You can't seem to get ahead. Kingdom Mother, it's time to stand on offense.
09:50:56 As the conqueror, you are, and stop sitting in the victim, the enemy wants you to be in.
09:51:02 Welcome back to another episode of Kingdom Mothers. I am your host.
09:51:06 Brandy Thomas. Today, I'm going to teach you how to wield your weapons.
09:51:12 for mass spiritual warfare. The enemy doesn't get your home, your family, your marriage, your finances.
09:51:20 Your destiny anymore. You are empowered for battle and anointed for victory.
09:51:42 Welcome back, you know, mothers. So, over the last 3 years specifically, I have been under some serious warfare.
09:51:49 Mixed in with some serious pruning and refining from the Lord.
09:51:53 One day, I was bawling on another Zoom call with my sweet friend.
09:51:59 And Kingdom Warrior Jill. And she said these words to me that changed everything.
09:52:07 She said, you are not a victim of this.
09:52:09 You are conquering this. Right then, something broke in the spirit as I came into agreement with her words.
09:52:18 And it was as if this shroud of darkness was lifted off of me. And she even could see it. She's like, it feels like something.
09:52:28 dark and heavy has just fallen off of you.
09:52:32 From then on, everything that has come my way, instead of falling prey to the attack.
09:52:37 I went into counterattack mode with my weapons of spiritual warfare.
09:52:43 So, if you're feeling like things in your life.
09:52:45 family, finances, marriage, etc. Are heavy right now. I want to tell you that, one, you're not alone.
09:52:52 And two… It probably is.
09:52:58 And three… you get to be… into conqueror mode, sister.
09:53:06 So let's talk about what weapons at your disposal that you can tap into when.
09:53:12 Kingdom… crap starts hitting the fan, for lack of a better.
09:53:18 word. So the first weapon of. spiritual destruction that's… I have just been learning how to wield over these last few years.
09:53:29 Number one has been worship. Worship in the waiting, worship in the discomfort, worship in the victory.
09:53:37 Worship is such a massive weapon that you can use to take ground in the spiritual realm.
09:53:45 Worship's gonna retune your heart, your body, your mind, to your divine identity and authority.
09:53:51 It's gonna attune your heart to God's heart. And 2 Corinth… sorry, 2 Chronicles.
09:53:59 20, 21 through 22, we see the Israelites were instructed by God to have singers.
09:54:05 Lead them… lead the army into battle. And as they praise God, the enemy was defeated.
09:54:13 It says, after consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise Him for the splendor of His holiness.
09:54:21 As they went out at the head of the army, saying, Give thanks to the Lord for his love endures forever.
09:54:28 As I began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir.
09:54:37 who were invading Judah, and they were defeated. We see this again in Joshua 6.20, with the walls of Jerob… when the walls of Jericho fell, after the Israelites marched around the city, and they shouted.
09:54:52 A shout of worship and praise. This is a testament to the power of your vocal praise and obedience.
09:54:59 It says, so the people shouted, and the priests blew trumpets. As soon as the people heard the sound of the trumpets, they gave a great shout, and the wall fell down flat.
09:55:10 So every man charged straight ahead. And the last scripture I want to speak on worship is Psalms 149.6-9.
09:55:21 This psalm calls for the faithful to use high praises of God in their mouth.
09:55:25 And a double-edged sword in their hand. To bring judgment on the nations.
09:55:31 So we can see that if you're feeling like you're under spiritual warfare and attack.
09:55:38 If you feel like everything around you is just… collapsing. If you are seeing things being killed.
09:55:47 stolen and destroyed. Get into a posture of worship. Lift up your voice and shout.
09:55:54 praises to the Lord. Praise in your grief, praise in your… blessing, just get into an act of worship. Worship, like gratitude, is going to change everything.
09:56:08 There's, um, a few songs that I… Absolutely love that, have gotten me through some… just of the harder times, the harder seasons of my story. Uh, the first one is Casting Crowns, praise you in the storm.
09:56:22 That song is so beautiful, and I encourage you to look it up, look up the lyrics.
09:56:27 Um, but it's specific… it talks about, like, I'm gonna praise you in the storm, I will lift my hands.
09:56:33 And it just goes on and tells a story, and I'm like, ugh, that's what I've had to do so many times.
09:56:38 And then there's a song that Phil Wookham. And I think Chandler Brown? I'm not sure what his last name is, but he's the… one of the main guys in Maverick City Music.
09:56:50 And their song… They… that I absolutely love. Um, I might have to look it up, because now I can't think of the… But it's like, praise you, um… You're worthy of it all. That's what their song's called. You're worthy of it all, and there's a time where it's like, I'm gonna praise you in the blessing.
09:57:08 And in the waiting. And those layers are so beautiful as well, and so we see that when we are… Fighting a spiritual battle, if we can wield our weapon of worship, then we're gonna take kingdom territory, we're gonna take ground, and it's gonna shift in a.
09:57:27 mind, tool, body, spirit, back into alignment with God, His presence, His truth.
09:57:32 Our divine identity and authority. So, good afternoon worship me too.
09:57:39 Second weapon that we can wield is our voice.
09:57:44 Speaking is a weapon. And you can use this weapon.
09:57:47 on yourself? to bring blessing or curse.
09:57:52 We… we know that… whatever you speak, your words actually have power of life and death. We see that in Proverbs 18.21. The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
09:58:06 So we have to be very cautious. of what we say, because when we speak, we actually can create covenants and legal agreements that the enemy then can take and say, hey.
09:58:16 She said this, so I have legal ground now to mess in this area of her life.
09:58:23 just like we can come into agreement, we can also use our voice to come out of agreement by repenting.
09:58:28 By saying, I no longer agree with this, I repent.
09:58:31 Um, please forgive me, and I want to walk away. This is… this is actually the truth. I'm coming into agreement with.
09:58:37 So whether you speak victory or speak death, you get to shape your victory.
09:58:43 If you keep agreeing with the lies and the facts of the circumstances that you're seeing in your life, instead of speaking to the victory and the truth of your God.
09:58:53 You will never defeat your giants. So, start guarding your mouth and your tongue.
09:59:00 One way that you could wield this weapon is write scriptures, declarations over your life, and speak them. Whatever you ask for in prayer and believe, and not doubt, you will receive.
09:59:10 Mark 11.24 says, Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
09:59:17 So we need to be speaking life over our husbands, over our children, over our marriages, over our finances.
09:59:27 And using those words, using God's truth, and coming into agreement with those. One of the things I'm speaking over my son right now, and that I'm even having him speak.
09:59:36 Especially, like, when we're in Carline, we read scripture, we do prayer, and I have them speak declarations.
09:59:43 And one of the things I have him say is that.
09:59:46 My mind and body is coming into alignment, or is in alignment with God's perfect will and design.
09:59:53 So even though I don't see all of… that… in my natural sense, I don't see his mind and body necessarily.
10:00:02 completely in alignment with God's perfect will and design. I'm speaking that, I'm having Him speak that, and I believe it will.
10:00:07 come into alignment, that God is going to give us the resources to heal my son, that he's gonna, um… That he's just gonna heal him, and he's gonna bring his mind and body into alignment with God's perfect will and design.
10:00:21 So, yourself, or your marriage, or your finances. We speak blessing, like, blessing follows me all the days of my life. In my coming and going, I am the head and not the tail.
10:00:33 I am worth more than rubies. You know, I… God is expanding my territory, and there will be no sorrow added to it.
10:00:42 So those are things that you can be speaking and using your voice as a weapon, praying out loud is another weapon.
10:00:49 way that you can… and this is my… actually my weapon number 3 is prayer. Prayer is a weapon.
10:00:56 Holy Spirit is your guide, your counselor. Jesus intercedes for you. Learn how to actually pray.
10:01:01 prayers that shift the atmosphere. There's a great resource by Dan Duvall.
10:01:07 He is called brideministries.com, and he has a list of prayers that you can pray, specifically a morning prayer and an evening prayer.
10:01:16 And one's more of, like, an offensive player, and one's more of a defensive prayer. Another resource that you can look into to learn more about prayer and how to pray.
10:01:26 is go back to Episode 4. And listen to the episode I did with Molly Trotter Gomez on prayer watches.
10:01:33 And that was really great, because there's different things that you can pray for throughout the different periods of the day, and we go into what is a prayer watch.
10:01:43 What are the different prayers that you can be praying specifically, and why it matters to pray specific prayers at different times of the day?
10:01:51 Especially, like, spiritual warfare-type hers. We need to stop going into prayer as beggars, and go into prayer as daughters of the king. And this is a lesson that I've had to personally learn, because there were so many prayers.
10:02:06 I'm not saying that these printers aren't dresses, like.
10:02:09 holy and, like, good prayers, but there were so many times when I was like, woe is me, God, like, just fix this, everything's messed up, and… And yes, I think… I believe there's a time for lament, and there's… there are… there's a whole book on lament, so I…
10:02:23 Definitely agree with lamenting and grieving, and bringing all of that to the Lord, and having those raw.
10:02:30 unfiltered conversations with God in your prayer time. At the same time, though, we have to remember our divine identity and authority, and remember who our God is. And this is probably the biggest thing.
10:02:43 In the last 3 years that God has finally, like.
10:02:47 more or less, like, beat into me, like, I finally got it through my sixth school, right, is that I am a conqueror.
10:02:53 And my God is able to defeat the giants in my life.
10:02:57 And I keep thinking of the story of David.
10:03:01 Where he's like, do you know who my God is?
10:03:03 he's gonna defeat you. I'm gonna cut your head off.
10:03:07 And we're gonna defeat you, so… there's that.
10:03:12 And I think that's how I need to approach the different things going on in my world, and what I want to speak encouragement to you is, like, we need to come.
10:03:21 two prayer, believing that God is who He says that He is, that He is a conqueror, and that we are more than conquerors in Him.
10:03:28 that he has our back, that He is going to… go and fight our battles, that vengeance is his.
10:03:36 And I just think we need to stop coming to him from this, like, victim mindset, and come to him from this, like.
10:03:43 Hey, I'm your daughter, you're my father, this is happening, I need you to have eyes on it, take… take awareness of this. I trust that you're going to handle it in your perfect timing, in your perfect will, in your perfect way. Give me guidance and discernment on what I need to do to be obedient and.
10:04:00 If there's something that I'm doing or not doing.
10:04:02 That needs to happen, like, please, Holy Spirit, counsel me on that, lead me… And, you know, but… God, take notice of what's happening.
10:04:12 And we see this, like, in Mark 9.25, when Jesus saw the crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the impure spirit and said, You deaf and mute spirits. He said, I command you, come out of him.
10:04:24 Never enter in him again. And 26, it says, the spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently, and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said he's dead.
10:04:36 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up. After Jesus had gone indoors, his disciples asked him privately, Why couldn't we drive out the daemon?
10:04:46 And Jesus replied, this kind can come out only by prayer.
10:04:51 So we see in Mark 9, 25 through 29 that prayer is powerful, and prayer can.
10:04:59 break off spiritual warfare. Prayer can rebuke the enemy.
10:05:06 Prayer can, again, align us back to God's will and authority that He's given to us.
10:05:10 So, be praying. And yes, there's so many different types of prayers, and I think there is a time and place for prayers of lament.
10:05:17 But we can't sit there. We can't sit in that limit, we can't sit in the victim.
10:05:24 And I think we can even grieve without going into a victim mindset and a victim.
10:05:30 posture, because Jesus wept, he grieved. He wrestled with things.
10:05:36 He still stood in his divine identity and authority at the end of the day.
10:05:41 And so, as Kingdom Mothers who are warring over our families.
10:05:45 who are fighting in the spiritual for our children, our marriages, our finances, our homes.
10:05:51 We need to be wielding these weapons, and when you come into that posture of, I have weapons.
10:05:57 Spiritual weapons of mass destruction. Then, all the things that are coming up will start to seem smaller.
10:06:06 Because you're going to start to look at them as, like, I'm conquering this.
10:06:10 I've got God behind me. We're gonna conquer this. My God is bigger than this debt. My God is bigger than this… septic issue. My gut is bigger than this spat I had with my husband.
10:06:21 And God can change hearts. He can change circumstances. He can change finances. He can change opportunities.
10:06:27 Like, he can do so much, and we need to stop boxing God in.
10:06:32 The fourth weapon that I want to… point out to you guys is fasting.
10:06:37 And this is a weapon that I think in our culture, I mean, United States culture, that.
10:06:42 Fasting is not commonly practiced. Um, I was not necessarily brought up with the… the culture of fasting, and… You know, it's something that I have tried throughout the years.
10:07:01 For me, 24 hours, and it's usually been more of fasting, like, social media, or fasting.
10:07:07 just… the internet, different things versus food, so that's… that's another, um… form, right? Like, we… fasting is primarily, I think, fasting food, but the posture of it is we're denying our flesh.
10:07:21 And when we deny our flesh, it allows you to seek the strength of the Lord, and you will receive clarity and wisdom when you seek the Lord with all your heart, soul, and mind.
10:07:31 And this is a spiritual discipline of abstaining from food or other things to focus on prayer. Repentance, and seeking God's guidance. So if you're struggling.
10:07:41 If you're, you know, been praying for a breakthrough, if you're praying for, like.
10:07:47 clarity, I would encourage you to fast. do a… get entered into a posture of prayer and fasting.
10:07:54 And just seek God's guidance. And remember, like, this is a private act of humbling yourself before God.
10:08:02 It's not for public display, and this can be done in various ways, and there's times where.
10:08:08 Hi, I may go on a fast, and I may ask, like, my inner circle of prayer warriors to be like, hey, can you be praying around me?
10:08:15 as I enter into this time of fasting, but I'm not… like, we saw this in the Bible, right?
10:08:21 when the Pharisees would be, like. Oh, what was mean? Their faces would be all, like, distorted, and they would be whining in public that they're fasting. Like, that's not the heart posture that God wants you to have when you're fasting. He wants you to be…
10:08:36 Denying and abstaining from something. to seek Him earnestly.
10:08:41 And it be done in private. We see biblical fasting, right? It's not about the rules, but about the heart posture of the dependence on God that you gain.
10:08:53 Leading to spiritual growth and closure, closer communion with Him.
10:08:59 So I encourage you, use fasting as a weapon. If things are coming at you right now.
10:09:06 Do 24-hour fasts, do… some people have done a week fast, some people have done 40 days.
10:09:12 do whatever you need to do, what God's calling you to do, pray about it, He'll convict you one way or another.
10:09:17 I know for me, I have some health concerns, so, like, fasting from food for long periods of time is not actually.
10:09:25 beneficial to me. It can actually cause more harm, so, like, I typically, if I'm passing food, I only do about a 24-hour fast, or, like, I'll fast.
10:09:34 from dinner to dinner time. Um, my convictions have primarily been on, like.
10:09:41 Fasting social media, or fasting my phone, those types of things, because that's the big thing for me that keeps me from the Lord.
10:09:50 I can't remember fasting is a weapon, and when we deny.
10:09:55 Our flesh? Oh, man. That gives you so much power in the spiritual realm.
10:10:00 The fifth weapon of mass spiritual destruction is repenting and forgiveness.
10:10:07 Forgiving others… is so powerful, and when we repent, which means to turn away from.
10:10:14 We ask and receive forgiveness from others and from God.
10:10:20 In Matthew 6, 14-15, it says, For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins.
10:10:30 Your father will not forgive your sins. That's a powerful scripture right there.
10:10:37 Like, God does it, like, we need to be in… an act of forgiveness and repenting and forgiveness is… really for our own sake.
10:10:46 Forgiveness doesn't necessarily help the other person, it helps us. It keeps our soul.
10:10:52 In check. It keeps our spirit in alignment with God's Spirit.
10:10:56 And we… when we forgive ourselves, when we forgive God, when we forgive others.
10:11:01 Then we have this clean slate to go and ask God for forgiveness.
10:11:06 And repenting, right? God's gonna convict you on… hey, this isn't in alignment with who I created you to be.
10:11:15 with who I called you to be. And there's so many times, he'll, like, re… he'll call you to repent.
10:11:22 He'll call you to repentance so gently. And in my experience, like, very, like, humbling, and it's… It's beautiful, and he's such a good father.
10:11:35 But when we come into repentance, when we say, hey, I was in the culture, I was… living this way, I was behaving this way.
10:11:45 And I repent for that, like, God, please forgive me.
10:11:48 Again, that is gonna take territory for the kingdom, because now you're… you're dying to your flesh.
10:11:53 you're turning the other way, you're no longer aligning with agreements and covenants.
10:11:59 of the enemy, but you're realigning to agreements and covenants of the Lord.
10:12:03 And so repenting and forgiveness are huge weapons. In the spiritual world, that can help you gain territory and ground.
10:12:12 the sixth weapon of spiritual mass destruction is surrender to receive, and if you've been around me long enough, you know that this is, like, one of my favorite phrases.
10:12:21 Submission and authority, this is important. Like, when we submit to God.
10:12:27 It's… it is just like… Sending hell, like, all the demons, all the… the principalities, like, we are just sending… We're freaking them out, essentially, right? They're, like, they've lost… fall on us. When we come into submission and surrender to the Lord, the act of surrendering to a higher power.
10:12:52 As seen as the prerequisite for spiritual authority. So by submitting one's life to God's authority.
10:12:58 We as believers can then effectively resist the devil and his schemes.
10:13:04 And… because this is basically going to take their strength and power, and they're no longer limited to… their own capacity. So, like.
10:13:14 now we're putting our strength and power. into the hands of the Lord, and so we're getting backed by Heaven.
10:13:24 And when we resist… When we submit, we're basically resisting. It's a form of resistance to the enemy.
10:13:32 And as a form of spiritual warfare, because if you first submit to God and then resist the devil.
10:13:39 When we are properly submitted. We have more… we're more empowered to resist evil, and according to the passage in James, this resistance causes the devil to flee.
10:13:52 from our lives, from having his hand in things, like, we're breaking off agreements with the enemy.
10:13:57 When we come into this posture of surrender. When we come into that posture of surrender, we're also saying, I trust and release.
10:14:06 Surrender involves letting go of personal fears, worries, the need to control outcomes, which, how many of us want to control these outcomes? They're like, okay, if I can just do this, this, and this, then this is gonna happen, and I can fix this. I can hold this wall that's cracking.
10:14:24 Um, and it's all gonna be okay. No, just come into a posture of surrender.
10:14:28 And allow all of those fears, those worries. The need to control, just set them at the feet of Jesus. This act of trust allows.
10:14:39 for a shift from a lens of fear to one of love.
10:14:43 Which is gonna open up the space for creative solution and divine guidance from the Lord.
10:14:49 Cerner's also gonna give you peace and comfort. By relinquishing control and trusting… God… We can find peace and comfort. It says, cast your cares on the Lord.
10:15:02 Take up his yoke, which is easy. His burning is light.
10:15:06 That is Jesus speaking to us. So when we cast our cares, when we surrender, when we release.
10:15:13 When we come into that posture of surrender, we get to receive peace and comfort.
10:15:20 And it's gonna allow us to have the joy of the Lord.
10:15:24 Which is what sets us apart, right? When we're going through things, hard times in our lives, but yeah, we can still worship, we can still rejoice.
10:15:31 We can still have this joy. That is super natural.
10:15:36 Because we know that we're not alone in the struggle.
10:15:40 Man, that is powerful. That is how we shine a light in this world. That's how we attract other people to Jesus.
10:15:48 When we surrender, we're also coming into alignment with righteousness, so surrendering to God allows for the alignment of one's heart and mind with God's will and truth.
10:15:57 Which is considered the path to advancing righteousness and defeating spiritual forces that work against us. So again, this is going to lead to empowered action in a greater sense of purpose.
10:16:10 why surrendering to receive, we are giving God. The authority we're giving him, we're taking the box off of him, we're taking control off of him, and we're letting him come up with these divine solutions that we would never even think of.
10:16:25 on our own, because his way is better, his way is higher, his plan and timing is perfect.
10:16:31 And when we come into that posture to surrender, I want you to picture this in your head. Picture.
10:16:37 You're on your knees, bowed down. Your hands are up and open.
10:16:44 And you're just, like, giving? It all… all the… all the worries, concerns, the burdens.
10:16:50 You just… you're just giving them to the Lord, you're setting them at His feet, and your hands are now empty.
10:16:56 they're open. Your hands are now open to receive.
10:17:00 the blessings, the rest, the goodness of God, the divine plan, the next step.
10:17:08 You get… you have space now for Jesus to put his hands in your hands.
10:17:13 And take you… And walk with you where He wants you to go. Like, it's so beautiful when we can come into that posture of surrender to receive. It's just, like, so freeing.
10:17:24 And it just brings so much peace and comfort and joy, and I just love sitting in this space.
10:17:29 So next time you're feeling like… Everything's falling down around you.
10:17:34 Get on your knees. Lower your head.
10:17:38 Raise your hands. And just say, God, I surrender.
10:17:43 I want to receive what you have for me.
10:17:49 And for right there. You're going to have some mess.
10:17:54 what, like, a huge weapon for spiritual… destruction. Against the enemy.
10:17:59 All right, we have… I'm on number 7, and I'm gonna have 10 total, so hang with me.
10:18:06 So, number 7 is standing in your divine identity and authority.
10:18:10 And when we can stand in our divine identity and authority, like, so much of that fear, that worry, that the… concern, the stress, the anxiety.
10:18:21 The doubt, it can go away. When we remind ourselves who we are, whose we are, and what we can do because of that.
10:18:31 If you start to kind of laugh at the enemy and his schemes, because you're like, oh my gosh, like, this is so dumb.
10:18:39 This is so dumb. Like, okay, God, we're done. We're done playing the victim. We're done… I'm your daughter. You are my god. You are the… you know, the defender, you defeat the Giants.
10:18:50 This is small compared to… other giants that you've defeated. So, I'm just gonna give it to you. I'm gonna release it to you.
10:18:58 I'm your daughter. I'm claiming that covenant, I'm claiming that you.
10:19:03 are a God who gives good gifts. And I'm standing in my authority through Jesus Christ that I can speak life over this, I can… remind you of who you are, God, and remind you of what you can do in this situation. I'm gonna submit to your will.
10:19:19 I'm gonna worship you. When we come into an agreement and alignment with our divine identity and authority, like, so many strongholds are just gonna automatically fall to the ground. Like, those chains are just gonna fall off.
10:19:29 Because they no longer have anything to hold onto.
10:19:34 Number 8, tears. Ugh, this is such a good one.
10:19:38 You know, there's different types of tiers. Like, God designed us so… wonderfully, and so cool when you get into, like, the science aspect of our bodies.
10:19:48 So there's, like, the form of tiers. That just, like, moisten our eyes and, like, help clean debris out, and just, like, keep our eyes safe.
10:19:57 But then there's the form of tears, and this is, like, scientifically proven, that are… that are used to unlock healing.
10:20:03 Surrender and breakthrough. Like, our… there are tears, the tears that we… that we cry when we're grieving.
10:20:10 They… it's scientifically proven that they actually heal our body. So, tears are so good, they're so healing.
10:20:18 It's a form of surrender. It brings about a form of breakthrough. We see King David, he often lamented and cried out to God in the Psalms, expressing his deep pain and longing for God.
10:20:31 King Hezekiah, he wept and prayed to God in his distress, which led God to hear his prayers, see his tears, and reverse a prophecy of death.
10:20:42 By adding 15 years to his life. He says, even Jesus wept.
10:20:48 Demonstrating that vulnerability and emotional expressions. Ernet, signs of weakness, but are compatible with a deep faith in a worthy.
10:20:58 And they're just worthy of God's presence. Tears are so good.
10:21:03 Allow yourself to come into the presence of the Lord, be vulnerable with Him, and just cry.
10:21:09 And weep with Him if you need to. It's going to unlock healing, it's going to put you in that posture of surrender to receive.
10:21:17 It's going to bring breakthrough, so don't be afraid of your tears.
10:21:21 And don't be afraid of bringing those big emotions to the foot of the cross.
10:21:25 That's the relationship. He wants to be with you in your highs and your lows. He wants to walk with you through.
10:21:30 the ugly and the beautiful parts of your life, like, He wants to be there with you.
10:21:35 So, he sees your tears, he catches your tears.
10:21:40 It's… it's so beautiful when we can be in that space with God and just, like, have that vulnerable time with Him.
10:21:49 I know that he's gonna comfort us. And are grieving, and joy will come in the morning.
10:21:56 So cheers is another way to have. some… some… to wield a weapon of mass spiritual warfare, because… our tears are… oftentimes tears of surrender, they're tears of healing, and when we bring these tears to the Lord.
10:22:11 And give them to him, like, it opens up the… space for… Jesus, to, like, love us, to comfort us, to heal us. When we go to Him.
10:22:22 Instead of going to the enemy and the things of this world that are… counterfeit solutions to healing and comfort.
10:22:30 When we take them to the Lord, like, that is such a huge win in the spiritual world.
10:22:37 Number 9… The ninth weapon that you can wield is tithing and generosity.
10:22:45 These are huge, especially if you're seeing some warfare around your finances.
10:22:51 Because when we see this warfare, a lot of times.
10:22:56 God may be using this warfare to actually break off your idol worship to the spirit of mammon.
10:23:02 And this is something where we, like. We're basically like, are you putting more trust in your bank account?
10:23:09 Or are you putting trust in God to provide?
10:23:12 Like, are you asking your… your money for permission, or are you asking God for permission?
10:23:18 And when you feel like that stress, that, like, tightening.
10:23:24 Around finances? That's a hard check right there, to be like, oh, I'm actually worshiping Mammon?
10:23:32 And money as an idol, more than I'm worshiping God right now.
10:23:35 And the way you can break that, the way you can come out of agreement to that, I think it's so easy, like, there's such a huge spirit of mammon.
10:23:41 Especially in Western culture. the way you can break that is generosity.
10:23:47 I mean, the woman who gave the two coins.
10:23:54 God is like, today she's given more than anybody in here.
10:23:58 Because she gave from her… luck. She gave out of… This posture of… I just… of generosity, this heart posture of generosity.
10:24:08 And so if you're feeling like your money is kind of starting to control you, you're feeling more stressed around your finances.
10:24:15 You make sure you're tithing. I try to tie the 10%, because that's what the Bible says to do, but… Also, like, ask for God to show you. He'll tell you what tithing is gonna look like.
10:24:29 And there's been seasons in my life where tithing wasn't necessarily to the church, it was to a ministry, it was to somebody in need.
10:24:37 And so, tithing throughout my story has looked completely different.
10:24:41 At different times. So, I just seek first the kingdom on this.
10:24:45 And let God convict you on what does tithing need to look like, but have that heart posture of generosity. Like, if you're… tithing, or if you're giving money away and you feel this, like.
10:24:57 twinge in your heart, that's a sign that you have a stronghold around money, and you are worshiping money more than you're worshiping God.
10:25:04 So I really encourage you, like, if you're having some spiritual warfare or under finances, God may be also using that to prune you of this idol worship.
10:25:14 And kill the altar of mammon and money as an idol.
10:25:17 God's gonna unlock your finances. When we have a posture of generosity.
10:25:22 And tithing, like… God says, test me in this.
10:25:28 This allows God to move in your finances. But we have to have the right heart posture.
10:25:33 All right, number 10, the 10th weapon that we can wield for… Weapons of mass spiritual destruction is renewing your mind.
10:25:42 Get an oily mind. And I learned this in one of the business conferences I went to earlier this year, and one of the speakers said, we need to have an oily mind, and an oily mind.
10:25:53 things run off of us. It's like our cup runneth over.
10:25:58 And yes, oil comes from the crushing, right? So there's definitely that, like, we have to kind of crush.
10:26:03 the things that are not of God, and… And kind of reroute.
10:26:10 redefine the belief systems and the thoughts that maybe have created craters in our mind.
10:26:16 So we need to… Renew our mind in the truth of the Lord.
10:26:22 And crush those things, and out of the crushing, we get this oily mind, and when we have an oily mind, things that are not of the Lord can just run off of us.
10:26:30 And… We just come into this, like, abundant mindset where, like, the cup run is over.
10:26:38 with the oil of the Lord. In 1 Corinthians 2.16, it says.
10:26:43 This verse famously concludes a thought about God's wisdom, stating, but we have the mind of Christ.
10:26:50 So you have the mind of Christ, you have access to the mind of Christ.
10:26:55 But oftentimes, our belief systems. With creative thoughts, and our thoughts create our belief systems.
10:27:03 Those get in the way. So we really need to… have our thoughts thinking on the Lord, which then will create these belief systems in our brain.
10:27:11 And the more we think on the truth of the Lord, the more our belief systems are going to change, which then, in turn, will also change your emotions.
10:27:19 Uh, there's a really great book that I'm reading right now called Victorious Emotions that does a great job of explaining all this, so I encourage you to.
10:27:27 check that book out. The final verse I want to leave you with is Romans 12.2.
10:27:33 And what this verse is doing is it's connecting the idea of transformation and urging believers.
10:27:39 That we shouldn't be conformed to the world, but be transformed. Here's a scripture. Be transformed by the.
10:27:45 renewal, the entire renewal of your mind. And this renewal allows one to understand God's will, because then they come into the… The mind of Christ we can be about. Our Father's business.
10:28:02 And we can have thoughts of, I'm more than a conqueror, and I'm conquering this, versus I'm a victim of this.
10:28:11 All right, so those were the 10 weapons. of math, spiritual, destruction, that you can have… that you have access to.
10:28:21 In times of spiritual warfare. So, to recap… Number one, worship.
10:28:30 Speaking, using your tongue for life. Number 3, prayer.
10:28:36 Number 4, fasting. Number 5, repenting and forgiveness.
10:28:41 Number 6, coming to that posture of surrender to receive.
10:28:45 Number 7, standing in your divine identity and authority.
10:28:49 Emily, tears, and allowing those tears to unlock. healing. Number 9, tithing and generosity. And number 10, renewing your mind with the mind of Christ and being transformed in that.
10:29:01 So I hope this encourages you, chemo mother, that.
10:29:04 If there's something coming against your family, your finances, your marriage, your children.
10:29:10 Stand in your divine identity and authority. Be empowered.
10:29:14 her battle, and know that you are anointed for victory.
10:29:18 And that you have access to all of these weapons, you get to wield these weapons.
10:29:23 To fight for your family and destroy the schemes of the enemy.
10:29:28 So, come, you know, use these, be encouraged, be strengthened.
10:29:34 Be reminded of who you are and whose you are.
10:29:37 I know that you are more than a conqueror.
